Accounting Officer
Location: St. Louis, MO
Department: Finance
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Employment Status: Full-Time
FLSA Status: Exempt
Serves as an Accounting Officer responsible for accurate financial reporting and analysis. Maintains compliance with all internal Bank policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities:

Record fixed asset depreciation and amortization monthly.

Track fixed asset disposals and additions.

Record securities purchases, sales, and month-end entries.

File and maintain records for securities, fixed assets, and prepaid items.

Set up amortization schedule for prepaid expenses.

Assist with Budget Preparation on an annual basis.

Complete regulatory reports as required. Including the Call Report and Y9SP.

Prepare monthly financial statements.

Accounts Payable processing and record keeping.

Research and resolve disputed items or invoices.

Reconcile general ledger accounts as assigned.

Gather reports and documents to support the auditors and examiners as requested.

Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or four or more years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in the banking industry. Work-related experience should include an in-depth background in accounting and finance skills.
